GLOSSARY
OF TERMS
Hardware that records and stores GPS data (BEE PRO or BEE LITE).
A unit of recorded data stored in the GPS tracker. Each data set can record up to 3 hours.
A button in the app that connects the GPS tracker to the app via Bluetooth.
When a data set stored in the GPS tracker is downloaded into the app, it can be divided into 1–8 sessions for analysis. For example, if you played a first half and second half, the session count would be 2.
GPS TRACKER PROPERTIES
The GPS tracker stores players’ location and time information. While recording a data set, it does not need to be connected to the app. All data is stored safely in the tracker until it is fully downloaded into the app. Once a data set is successfully transferred, it is deleted from the tracker.
Data sets are segmented each time you power off the tracker. For example, if you switch the device off three times before downloading, the tracker will contain three data sets.
A single data set can record for up to 3 hours. If the device runs longer than 3 hours without being powered off or connected to the app, it will automatically close that data set at the 3-hour mark and begin recording into a new one.
While the GPS tracker is connected to the app, it will not record data. Therefore, during training or matches, always turn on the GPS tracker but do not connect it to the app until the activity has ended.
APP PROPERTIES
Once you install the SOCCERBEE app and complete registration, a unique account is created. All data sets you download from the GPS tracker are stored in your personal cloud storage linked to that account.
The app is responsible for downloading, analyzing, and displaying your results. All historical data remains stored in the cloud and tied to your account.
Even if you change your phone, as long as you log into your SOCCERBEE account on the new device, all your past history will remain accessible.
If you forget your account details and create a new account with a different email, that new account will not contain your previous history, and you will need to start accumulating data from scratch. To avoid this, make sure to store your SOCCERBEE account information in a secure and memorable way.
HOW TO USE
INCORRECT USAGE EXAMPLES
1. Turning on the GPS tracker while keeping it connected to the app during play.
→ The tracker does not record data while connected. Always connect only after the activity ends.
2. Turning on the tracker at home before traveling to the pitch.
→ This will record unnecessary GPS data of your travel route. Always power on the tracker only at the pitch, 5 minutes before kick-off.
3. Not downloading or turning off the tracker after the game and carrying it home.
→ This will record your journey home as part of the data. Always download immediately after the match or switch off the device before leaving.
